Hey everybody,
Built my PC in Oct of 2012. When i made it i wanted to just use my SSD for essential files and i had intended to keep games and stuff on a separate external HDD. Well that didnt work out so well since the SSD spoiled me and
i ended up installing/uninstalling games many times on the SSD as well as a bunch of other file transfers and deletions. I dont know much about SSDs except for one tip that i heard which was to never defrag it lol.
But anyways i was just wondering how would i know when its time to get a new SSD? rather than waiting until i get a critical failure or something. Also it should be possible to get a new SSD and install my OS on it and have it run as a master and then just connect my old SSD as a slave right? so that i can keep using it to play games off of. Stuff that i wouldnt really care about if the SSD craps out and cannot be recovered.
Not sure if it makes any difference but this is the SSD that i have right now that i've been using since 10/2012.
