No I think his post is spot on. You have any topic on these forums on any of those subjects and it gets very toxic very quickly.

The state of mental health in this country is abysmal. Evidenced by the man killing him self, and the morons who think its fake.

Kind of ironic a "Black Lives Matter" member killing himself.

Well BLM is known to jump to the same conclusion each and every time..... "the cops did it!!!!!!!"

He was trying to shed light on the real problem in the black community in this country. His demons were that he understood how #BLM doesn't actually convey the right message by saying it's a problem of white on black crime. 90% of the offenders in crimes against blacks, are black. Today, he brought attention to that fact, as he was shot and killed, by a black man.

Did you know this guy or are you just projecting? And it's higher than 90%

Don't get why he couldn't have killed himself in private rather than inflicting it on the public.

Anyone else find the irony of a person that follows a movement called #blackLIVESmatter, killing himself.

    Wouldn't that be taking a Black life...lmao

The idiocy of these people astounds me.

Sorry, I was using all crime, not just killings. In all crimes 2014 data showed 90% of the time the offender was black, when the victim was black.

People have asked, why kill a random guy.

Pending on which side killed him, if it was not suicide, there are potential motives.

For the police to do it, it would demonstrate how radical these activists are, and how far they would go to prove a point. Basically labeling them as harmful to themselves, and potentially others.

For the BLM Activists to do it: To show how the resistance to the BLM movement is driving black people to the point of ending their lives because there does not seem to be a victory in the future. Or because there is so much horrible discrimination and violence against black people, that the man didn't see a point in living anymore.

But really, this was likely just a suicide of a mentally damaged person.

They'd have been able to avoid all the distraction surrounding the name of the movement that way and it wouldn't have detracted from the message at all.
They should have never made it a race issue to begin with since more white people were killed by police than black.

OMG you're absolutely right. If they had been less offensive to white ears, we totally would have 100% taken them seriously. The leap in deductive reasoning that it takes to realize that BLM means black lives matter TOO is just too much to expect from anyone. What a simple and avoidable fatal flaw!

Oh look another misinformed robot posting a widely debunked infographic. None of this is true.

Shame on everyone for trying to politicize and discuss a suicide. He was very clearly mentally ill. It's disgusting that anyone is trying to fit him into a box to further their point of view.

Maybe he wanted to be a martyr. No wait, no, that's what BLM is gonna turn him into. Probably he had some mental issues and that was his way to fix them.

This thread isn't going anywhere constructive the way it started. Yes, some people in the BLM movements are idiots. Let me know when politicians start Echoing that sentiment like they do in the climate change debate.
