About 10 years ago while at University and undergoing Exam stress I discovered a technique that is
natural, non religious and does not involve drugs that makes you feel ..so much better.
I attended my first Transcendental Meditation course, had a Hindu type ceremony performed by a bald gentlemen who lit some
incense, took some fruit & flowers from me and gave me a secret word...my Mantra.
I continued doing TM twice a day but once I entered the workforce, life began becoming busy and I forgot about TM.
Which brings me to now: The other day I was going through a very stressful period in life.
I was not sleeping & life seemed just shit.
So I sat down closed my eyes for 20 minutes and brought in my Mantra which as soon as some thought entered my head, I would wash away
with my Mantra.
Well..Afterwards.. The stress was gone, I was not tired even though I only had 3 hours sleep the night before.
I had an Awesome day at work
And walked from work to home about 5 miles and had so much Energy.
The following night I slept for about 8 Hours.
I can see now why Celebrities like Katy Perry, Hugh Jackman, Clint Eastwood, Ellen De Generes plus lots of others
do Transcendental Meditation.

It really gives you energy & focus because a lot of our thoughts actually waste natural energy.
I am going to continue with TM now.. Its like a long lost friend.

“It’s something that’s with you for your whole life,” Perry says. And she is keen to emphasize the practical, day-to-day value of practicing TM.
“You learn your mantra, it never leaves you, and it’s the deepest rest your brain gets. For people that are so creative and have this kind of creative faucet that never turns off – it just continues and continues – it can be a little exhausting.
