and the US did win the war by bombing German and Japanese cities, crippling both their morale and industries, especially in the case of the Japanese who were fanatically loyal to their God Emperor (yes they worshipped him, does that sound familiar?)

if you wanna continue wasting resources and manpower on that shithole of a region, then continuing to do things like they're done now is the way to go

if you withdraw, they have free reign
