    Meanwhile in Soviet Britain

    http://www.breitbart.com/london/2016...-ukip-website/

A schoolboy has been hauled out of class and interviewed by police after he accessed the UK Independence Party’s (UKIP’s) website on school premises, which teachers deemed to be “politically incorrect.” His father has reacted furiously, warning “they’re like the thought police”.

On Wednesday morning, 15 year old Joe Taylor was shocked to be removed from class at Wildern School in Hedge End, Southampton, to be quizzed by a Hampshire Police officer over his use of school computers to access the UKIP website.

The row comes four years after a couple had three foster children removed from their care because they belonged to Ukip.

Rotherham Council said the children were ‘not indigenous white British’ and that it had concerns about Ukip’s immigration policy.

After a public outcry it issued a statement saying membership of the party could not be a sole reason for removal. But it did not let the couple have the children back.
Looks like the extremists aren't the ones looking at UKIP websites.

Can't imagine why any one would think UKIP-ers are racist:

What was that about thought-police? Interesting to note that you left out the bit about the EDL march and how that played a bigger role in him being questioned (not detained).

Knowing the Daily Mail, there's probably more to the story than meets the eye.

Seems the Daily Mail left out A LOT of details about why the boy was taken for questioning.

Don't let thinking critically about the situation ruin the fascist circle jerk though. Complain about being victims of "wrongthink".
2014 Gamergate: "If you want games without hyper sexualized female characters and representation, then learn to code!"
2023: "What's with all these massively successful games with ugly (realistic) women? How could this have happened?!"

They left out nothing, but ofc batman is too easy to dismiss it because of his bias. To be honest it's not much different on other side either since both sides are willing to accuse other side biased as well for linking left wing media and both can be sometimes right about this. In this case however, there doesn't seem to be too much bias regarding the factual information when crosschecking with the BBC article.

Dailymail actually mention more about what the boy viewed compared to rather plain BBC article who just mentions him viewing a UKIP site. http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-hampshire-35671519

As for regarding free speech in UK. They have lot of restrictions even in online communication. I would be able to understand if it were regarding threats and such, but in this case you can get jailed for posting offensive shit. This is coming from guardian so no one can accuse the source for right wing bias or whatever:
http://www.theguardian.com/law/2014/...itter-facebook I think UK should work on laws that make sure you won't get jailed for offensive speech (that is not threatening).
