I'm curious how you're supposed to measure global happiness empirically.. As far as social science goes, this is fairly good. It's just asking people how they feel about a bunch of stuff and relaying that information, there's no claims of causation or wild jumps to conclusions.
Far right in Denmark? Ayyy lmao. Our most right wing party is called "Liberal Alliance" and every single party in the parliament wants to keep the welfare system.
There also aren't any skinheads, in case you might be wondering.
People often refer to Dansk Folkeparti (Danish People's Party) as a far right party. It's a socialist party which is also nationalist, which is why most people place it on the far right, because for some reason people have chosen to accept that socialism is on the left, unless said party also likes its own country, in which case it's suddenly far right and all the socialist attributes are instantly forgotten for some reason. I call the DPP centrist - and that's by a Danish scale, which is overall very far to the left. Bernie Sanders would probably on the right of Danish politics lol.
Fortunately, our constitution, which our politicians cannot change, keeps the country free and capitalist when push comes to shove despite the overwhelming amount of socialist politicians.

I don't completely disagree with capitalism. It has some very good points that incentivizes hard work and allows people to pursue their dreams, but too much capitalism leads to a divided population due to high income inequality and inhuman treatment of employees in the name of profit. America needs more socialistic values at the moment.
Not necessarily. Capitalism works fine, if your government cares enough to protect it's citizens. In case of the American government, they never cared.

Guess you haven't visited, the netherlands, luxembourg, france, germany, belgium. All these countries are far more diverse than Brazil.
I don't really think you're right about that. Capitalism only breaks down when the value of employees is low. Otherwise it's quite nice.
When you go and work for a company you make a voluntary agreement. Yes, you're forced to make some agreement or other with somebody, but if there are 8 shops and you're a capable salesman, capitalism encourages and functions on the assumption that you'll talk to all 8 and join whoever treats you best and gives you most money.
When the supply of labour far outstrips the demand for it, capitalism runs into problems. There is a wide variety of reasons why this can happen, but if you keep the number of hours worked down at a reasonable level and restrict migration, those problems are pretty easily avoided.
Denmark does this. In Denmark, it's very unusual to work more than 40 hours a week, and we are also practically infamous for not letting in migrants.

They use Gallup polls for the 2.2 figure (Gallup is American), the results seem similar to OECD.
