My money is on a contested result. Currently, Donald has around 44% of the committed delegates. If he maintains that margin, he wont have enough to win, but neither will anyone else.

We'll know in a few hours. If he wins Ohio and Florida he'll almost certainly get 1237, the rest of the states aren't winner take all so Cruz would have to win every state by a ridiculous margin for Trump not to get 1237. If he loses one or both then yeah probably no body will get 1237, since Kasich/Rubio won't drop out and keep on stealing delegates.

But despite what other people say, I actually think Trump can win a contested result. If that happens you actually get to talk to and persuade/negotiate with the delegates, which the Donald can do better than anyone.

Being Finnish, and living in a country that was actually invaded by the communist Soviet Union during the lifetime of my grandparents and parents, it's always so hilarious to see someone from a country thousands of miles away on the other side of the planet, a country that hasn't even been invaded in the modern times, let alone by communists, bring up the bogeyman of communism, as if they know the first thing about it.

The DNC screwed up big time crowning Clinton to be their next presidential nominee even before the campaigning began. they coroneted a very damaged candidate and they are going to pay the ultimate price for doing so, and this isn't even taking into account the likely possibility of an indictment being handed down during the campaign

Whoever wrote that piece is an idiot. Sanders has a decisive lead in swing states? First, the idea that Minnesota is a swing state is ridiculous. They haven't voted Republican in more than 40 years, longer than any other state in the country. So you are left with Sanders winning big in Colorado and New Hampshire. 13 delegates or the same amount as Virginia, which Clinton won in a land slide. Then he lost (narrowly, but LOST) Iowa and Nevada. Meanwhile, today he is going to get destroyed in North Carolina and Florida, two actual swing states.

And who cares if Sanders won solidly blue states? They are going to vote for the Dem no matter what.

Way too many "journalists" writing articles on politics when they clearly have no clue.

I think the majority of Sanders voters would prefer Clinton over Trump or Cruz. I think the vast majority of Democrats who didn't vote in the primary don't care if it's Clinton or Sanders, but will vote for whomever come general election time.

The GOP is responsible for not only courting, but cultivating the voters the Trump and Cruz appeal to. Superdelegates haven't been a secret. It's a measure of "will work well with others in office." I voted Sanders, and I won't feel betrayed if superdelegates vote overwhelmingly for Clinton.
