Trailer : The Gift

The Gift is a CGI short film from Marza Animation Planet and Sega that's set to release April 4th. All scenes were rendered real-time, only using the Unity 5 game engine. The creators are hopeful that the U.T.M.P tool they've created will "become the standard way to create CG shots going forward".

I think this is really awesome, and a testament to how far Unity has come. Needless to say that this can dramatically speed up the process of animated film creation. Also, if you haven't seen the newest short from Unity's team, then check this video out. Pretty cool stuff.
