(HS) Ladder climb

So what kind if deck do you use to climb the ladder ?

Right now i have great fun with a druid Hobgoblin deck, seems people forgot about that card, can not say i do fantastic, rank 14 right now started at rank 19 like 4 hours ago and winrate been around 60% ...mages just beat me flat out but it is a fun deck so i keep going.

Goal is to pass rank 10 tonight ... it is around that rank i normally end anyway as it becomes more about netdecking and counter the other popular decks after that and i do not have the time or skill to go much higher anyway

kinda sad that only time i hit legend was a few months after release and with a facehunter .....

I welcome WoG relieving me from feeling compelled to only play secret Paladin on ladder.

Though I do sometimes still play zoo lock.

Control Warrior always. I don't care if my games take 4x more to end compared to other decks, It's just my favourite deck and I have more fun with it than any other deck. A few times I switch to Renolock, but it's mostly CWarrior.

Last time I got Legend I didn't reach Legend with CWarrior though as going from rank 3 to Legend with that deck was proving to be pretty hard with all Secretpaladins and Druids around. At that time I played a bit with Tempo Mage but it was Midrange Druid that got me there. I have a love/hate relationship with Midrange Druid: I absolutely find the deck boring and too straightforward to play but It is the deck that I have had most success with ever.

I switch a lot depending on what is out in the world.

I Play Murloc Control/OTK Pally (using Doomsayers etc) for when their are a lot of face decks out there or secret Pallies.
I Play Control Warrior for when there are a lot of Druids and Warlocks.
And I play Dragon priest for when I hit control warriors and Rogues.

Sitting at rank 9 ATM thought I don't have nearly enough time to play anymore.

Depends on what I'm facing. Lately it's been a ton of aggro and combo druids, so I've played Fibonacci warrior. The feeling of getting comboed 2 turns in a row and not dropping below 50 health is priceless.

EDIT: to make sure, not saying you're miserable but all these secret paladins and aggro decks would make me miserable.

Malygos Warlock. Wouldn't recommend it though, not very consistent at all.

Control Priest to farm the cancer decks like Secret Paladin, and Herp Derp Shaman. Only really, really bad match ups are Freeze Mage that gets Emperor or Antonidas out, and Hand/Reno Locks. Rogue is also pretty shitty, but it's at least win-able sometimes. No one plays Rogue though.

I find Zoo pretty good to climb the ladder with, it has a decent match up against most. Got to rank 5 this and last season with it.

Did play a bit Renolock, Patron and Tempo mage but ended up playing Zoo to climb for the rewards.
