Honestly I don't think Feral is in dire need of gameplay changes. More balancing is always nice but I feel like we're in a pretty good spot. We aren't one of the specs that needed special attention.

Feral is fine mechanically, they haven't fundamentally changed since MoP. They might need some numbers tuning, but the community perception of them is worse than they actually are.
So does the rotation/playstyle just take a few weeks to adjust to for it to feel good, or is my brain just not capable of handling the different timers and resources
Just look at the rotation requirements and sit there attacking a target dummy for 30 minutes or so doing your best to maintain everything. You will slowly build some muscle memory and it will become easier. You will understand when you can and can't go for abilities, ect.
Feral is a spec that rewards practice and patience. Use the target dummies.

I'm running with SoF, Sabertooth, and MoC. Anyone know if I should be FBing at 5cps only, or 4-5 to not waste CP? Or can anyone point me to the right place to find out?
First question, I only use thrash with my OOC procs. I think this is the general consensus. Second, LI is still solid, just slightly behind Blood Scent, so if you like it, it is fine to use. Plus it's good on cleave fights. Third, satyr is still best and so is old war pots, although you can use prolonged power with your berserk to increase dmg more, but I just use old war always.

Regarding your Thrash question, my best answer is: you can keep it on the boss as long as it doesn't interfere with keeping Rake, RIP and Savage Roar up. These 3 have priority over Thrash.
As for talents, my choice isn't very consensual, because I use Predator in every fight, since almost every fight has adds that die quickly and that means I get Tiger's Fury more often, which in turn means that I have a boost in energy more often.
mainspec moonkin here trying to keep an adequate feral set.
I have the moonfire legendary shoulders for moonkin. My only feral legendary is the ring. So, I have another legendary slot open. My only non-moonkin specific legendary besides moonfire shoulders is Sephuz. If the shoulders work with LI, though, I wouldn't mind using them. Couple questions:
Do the moonfire shoulders work with lunar inspiration? Do the shoulders increase the damage of moonfire? Does the extra direct damage event generate an extra combo point?

Satyr is the best neck enchant, OW is the best potion on ST(Prolonged for more than 1 target). You should definitely try to play BS instead of LI, because it is stronger. Don't maintain Thrash on ST, only use it on Omen of Clarity procs(while you have 4set equipped)

What do you people think about the new legendary ring giving SotF? Could be nice to run both SotF and Savage Roar, making the spec both easier to play and (since SotF wasn't bad) give a decent dps increase. How would it compare to the other legendaries Feral currently has?
I think it'll make the spec even more cancerous than in HFC, because SotF provides roughly twice as much energy/second as the HFC set bonus did. Based on early sims with the ring, the spec is going to end up at over 60 APM(as in, GCD locked). I'm sure that is going to make some people happy(mainly the ones who play the spec even though they don't actually like it), but even Blizzard said that HFC Feral wasn't good for the spec, so why they're doing this is a mystery to me.
The ring is looking to be our best legendary(by far if they add secondaries, by a bit less than that if they don't)

Oh, I didn't expect SotF be that crass in energy output. GCD locked Feral sounds more than just a bit weird.
I'm playing SotF with (200 energy) Ring and (Dot crit CP generation) Gloves. I have infinite energy and i'm GCD locked (99% of time) unless you get really unlucky with 4-5 non crits in a row and zero OOC procs. Without those 2 legendaries you are not GCD locked because some times you end with 0 energy 5 CP (Tiger's Fury on CD) and waiting for 25-30 energy to hit finisher.
