If you bothered to study US history for even a second, you'd probably realize that just about all immigrants ever have come from underdeveloped countries. Hell, they couldn't even throw together an actual economic strategy in 2012 for the national election when everyone was pleading for them and their VP candidate was a supposed expert on it.

Many right oriented minded folks believed in the notion of tolerance yet have been vilified and scapegoated. The tea party was originally formed to fight the corruption in the Republican party, they truly desired the big banks responsible for the 2008 crash to be brought to justice. It was co-oped into a crazy forum of guns and god/ anti gays, a true perversion of the ideals of liberty and freedom. Those on the right that think Christianity's days of imposing their morality upon the US stood up with the left in their causes yet still are labeled as racist, bigots, and the verity of ism that are used today to refer to "the right" in general. They are tired of it, and as such trump giving voice to their silent anger.

I fail to see what it has to do with my quote though, nor do I agree with such oversimplification of any party's policies. I doubt you will hear from any Republican congressman anything like, "I will be happy with whatever makes Obama supporters feel bad". People who want others to feel bad and use it as a guidance in deciding who/what to support have some serious problems, I think.
