Is it not working properly after the last update?
Whenever I try to send a whisper, I get a 1 second freeze and can't see the whisper. Disabled prat and it works fine.
If it isn't working for other people too, anyone got an alternative addon?

I just got rid of that addon completely but I heard they fixed the issue with the latest update.
I actually felt my UI got so much cleaner without it

Check http://vranx.com/chat.htm for solid alternatives. I personally use PhanxChat because it's functional and it comes with RealUI

It fixes it
or, open your curse client and right click on Prat 3.0 > Preferred Release Type > Alpha

It is, but you have to be on the Alpha release channel.
