Loot Distribution
Loot Council - Advent Fury’s loot council system is simple and efficient. Our officer team ensures that loot is distributed fairly and within the best interest of the guild. We use the EPGPLootmaster addon to efficiently distribute loot and proprietary software developed specifically for Advent Fury to record loot history.
If Your Application is Accepted
You are interviewed in our mumble. It's a friendly chat with some innocuous questions and some situational questions. The officers are trying to get to know you. Then you are put in Initiate status, which usually lasts for about 4 weeks depending on performance. While an Initiate, you just don't get gear over a main raider. If no raider needs the item, initiates will roll for it.

What kind of players is Advent Fury looking for? Talent – Advent Fury is looking for talented players to join our raid roster. You should be at the top of your class, in terms of knowing mechanics and how to use them. Dedication – We have been raiding since Vanilla. We are looking for players who plan to raid long term and who want a steady and solid raiding environment. We are not interested in people who pick up the latest expansion, raid the first tier and then peace out. We expect 90% raid attendance from our raiders. We again use a proprietary program to keep attendance records. Good Attitude – Since this is a game we expect everyone to have a good attitude towards one another and raiding. We play to have fun and we have fun by killing bosses. Someone who doesn’t take criticism well and who is not responsive to communication (both inside the raid and out) is not a good fit for Advent Fury. Keeping an open mind to try new things is also very important, understanding that a game like WoW is a constant learning experience. Innovation is what kills bosses. We enjoy open discussions about boss strats on our forums, in raids (bur not during pulls) and an overall a general willingness to contribute to the raid's performance. Knowledge – You should be up to date on all relevant theory crafting materials for your class. We are not here to teach you the basics to raiding or your class, our raid team spends its own time researching and implementing methods to maximize DPS/Tanking/Healing. If you require help in these areas you’re probably not what we’re looking for. Having questions is fine, not knowing what you’re talking about and needing to be ‘coached’ is not. Character – While gear is not necessary for a good application to be given serious consideration, it is a huge plus. We are especially looking for people who already have their legendary ring. Having gear and achievements shows that you have experience with the content we are working on. Your character should have appropriate professions for your role and you should have solid methods to provide yourself with consumables.
What will I need to apply?
Time – Make sure you spend time finishing and formatting our application questionnaire.
Screenshot of your UI – We ask that you include a SS of your UI in your application.
Combat Parses – Please be prepared to include proof that you are not a mindless button mashing WoW thug who expects to be carried through content. Applications with no combat log parses from WoL or WCL will not be given serious consideration.
Mumble – Applicants who we are seriously considering are asked to meet with officers on Mumble for an interview. Once installed, please contact an officer for log-in info.

From a raider's perspective, there is much joking of small pp and lots of laughter to go around. AF is welcoming and fair. They don't put up with shit talking, excessive negativity and they expect their raiders to perform their best.
If you don't like to raid, why are you here? If you like to raid, have a good attitude and know your class, just apply!
