You hardly needed a spoiler tag for that. He seems to want to follow in Vader's footsteps, and in TFA he was nearing the end of his training, and it's pretty much implied the 'task' he carried out was to solidify his position on the Dark Side.
Isn't it ironic how education is important, yet people forget all about it when they visit the internet?

It look like he want to be the replacement of Dart Vader.... but Rens desire feel flawed becuse Dart Vader did turn to the light in the end, there must be a better role models if you want to be a evil sith lord.....
Or the grand plot is stolen from Dark Empire, ther Luke Skywalker freely falls to the dark side to gain the knowledge to destory the big bad.
