    HFC Mythic speed kills

I'm just looking for general tips on how to do speed kills in HFC Mythic. Until now we've been doing split runs which were focussed mostly on farming and not on speed ranks.

However, we intend to make a setup from those two split runs and stack specs like arcane mages and sub rogues into 1 group. It probably won't be Drive style 20 sec speed kills but we'll try our best.

Just looking for some general tips on how to do it. Obvious moves would be to stack high burst specs such as arcane mages and sub rogues and to bring as few healers as possible. Should tanks be focussed on dpsing too?

What about a fight like Gorefiend, should you bring 4 healers or cut down and rez?

Would you bring multi dot specs in for a fight like council or just go for single target burst?

I suppose you would always bloodlust on pull? Are there any exceptions?

Are there any other things to take into account?

    It's pretty easy.

Bring as few healers and tanks as you can get away with, even then both of these should be trying to do as much damage as they possibly can.

Step two is to just stack as many mages as you can, and then probably enough classes to buff them.

Step three is to abuse the ring to the best of your ability.

Without looking, I'd assume on Gorefiend, you would probably bring 3 healers and just use a res on the one that dies as your only combat resurrection. Don't know what the best time is for it, but I'd assume the best times would still be a little bit of the ways through the first feast phase, so with that in mind even if you don't get the full duration it's still likely best to use lust in the second phase. Even if you only get 20 seconds of it (due to the 100% damage taken buff.

On Council you likely wouldn't zerg them down one by one, affliction locks are still strong on this fight (even if it lasts 2 minutes), and the best possible kill times likely involve people making the most of felrage to increase damage output. For example multidot all three, focus Dia if you don't have cleave, otherwise focus Jubei and cleave onto Gurtogg if your class allows. So like, balance druids would likely DoT all three and focus damage on Dia, Hunters would focus Jubei and naturally cleave onto Gurtogg, and Mages would likely do the same thing. That allows you to take advantage of fel rage.

HFA: Kill siegemaster fast, find the most efficient way to kill sieges. Expldoe soul caps on them, time CDs etc. Have Druids run boxes. This one is very stupid and luck based (or you can edit your logs like some have done).

Iron Reaver: 1 tank 0 healers. Arcane Mages, Boomkin, Sub rogue, Affliction/ or have demo lock get summoned in with full Fury. Ret also bursts high on these for some reason.

Kormrok: Start purple pool, same as Iron Reaver

HFC: 1 heal, Explode ring on Dia. You want to split DPS like so: 20% on dia, 20% on Gurtogg, 60% on Baldemaster. That way guy with felrage gets the full benefit of it, you want to kill Gurtogg right as felrage ends though so adjust DPS assignments accordingly. Ideally you want them to die at the same time, but if healing is shit, just kill gurtogg faster and then dia+blademaster within 15 seconds of each other is fine.

Kilrogg: Same as Kromrok/Iron Reaver. If you get vision send down 3 shitty DPS.

Gorefiend: 3 healers, 2 tanks. Healer get's rezzed. Make sure lust is utilized for its full 40 seconds, even if you have to pop it before feast.

Iskar: idk lol, the timings on it is fucked because he stays at 1 hp for like 30 seconds unless you push him with 18 mages. We tried for an hour to figure it out but yeah You are most likely looking at a 3 min+ kill. GL

Zakuun: Same as Iron Reaver, make sure people are wearing BoA trinkets, don't soak the pillars at all. 2 tanks 0 healers is what we did. You can probably 1 tank it.

Xhul: If you can do it have everyone but 3 mages chill in melle, and instantly cleave down Voidfiends+imps. Combat rogues, warriors, rets and of course fire mages are good for cleaving. Affliction lock is good for boss dps, elemntal shamans are decent as well for the first part of the fight. DKs aren't necessary but you still want to CC the imps. 2 tanks, 1 healer. Maybe can zero heal if you have a few shadowpriests or boomkins, idk.

Socerthar: Iron reaver fight. push the robot, explode ring on boss, kill dominator, kill boss. Warriors are good for execute, make sure they desync rings. Need one healer for sure.

Tyrant: This one is tricky, you want to lust at the start and push the boss to the last phase, then you actually want to stop DPS on the boss at 33%, let the damage debuff stack a bit. As soon as ring is up you unload everything on the boss and kill her before the add makes her immune. We've never tried this but that's what the top 2 speed kills look like. We are gonna try it out next time we do speed run clear. You might not have the damage tbh, it looks pretty tough on healing too.

The last 2 bosses I don't have much knowledge, you should look through some logs that are realistic to your raid comp and figure out what you can do. Good Luck!

HFA: You can't. All speed kills in the top like 30-40 are bugged, but without looking at every second and hp of mob you can't tell but they are. They are missing the first 30-60 seconds of the fight. They are fighting tanks 10 seconds or less into the pull.

Reaver: Don't heal it. Don't kill bombs. Don't hit the bombs with ring.

Kormrok: Same as reaver. Tank on purple side. Find the spot where mages can use crystal and it will hit the boss the whole time.

Council: Try to 1 heal it. If you can't start with 2. Cleave the 2 bosses hard. Ring on Dia. Don't kill Gurtogg before Fel Rage. Let that person get full use. If Gurtogg isn't dead as Fel Rage ends kill him then though. At that time Blademaster should basically be dead too.

Kilrogg: 1 Tank 1 heal(or 0 heal if you can kill it fast enough). Just blow the boss up. Use any raid cds and personals if you get visions and let it blow up. Have to kill first tank add asap so tank doesn't get too much corruption.

Gorefiend: 1 or 3 heal heal and use res on the healer. Bring lots of burst to kill Gorefiend during feast. Long as you have a moonkin and people who know how to just target a person when they have a few seconds left till they need out its fine. You don't need dotters and shit. Hunter or 2 is pretty useful until you are trying to push like R1 speed.

Iskar: Position so you don't have to move anyone for air phase from pull. Ring instant and lust. Ring only hit boss(have your 1 melee jump off with ring and blow up(this is so you 100% don't hit adds)). Ideally your ring pushes boss below at least 45% before first cast so you can skip a whole phase which makes the kill time a possible 1m20s-1m30s. If you can push him below 20% before first cast you can get sub 1m kill.

Socrethar: 1 Tank 1 Heal. Keep boss in center even in P2. No dps should move. Have worst dps in raid do construct. Construct needs to land his nuke on dominator as it spawns so it hurts it so it dies as it runs in to the center. Construct just lay traps for ghosts you should only get 1-2 waves anyway.

Fel Lord: 1 Tank 1 Heal(0 heal if kill gets super fast like 30-40sec). Tank boss where it is. Just burn and don't stand in any of the pools. Just boss beat everything.

Xhul: 2 Tank 1 Heal. Just literally burn your ass off. Everyone stack in melee and don't leave until both big bosses spawn(so Fire Mages can spread combust). Run all Greens to 1 side and all Purples to another. Ignore blowing fire up. Should only get 1-2 black holes.

Tyrant: 2 Tank 1-2 Heal. Burn everything on pull. At 2m exactly burn everything again(boss should be sub 40% and ideally sub 30%). The add doesn't cast its shield on boss for like 32 seconds or something after it spawns. Long as all the adds are not in melee you are fine. Also ignore all the adds and only burn boss. Each tank just tank 1 add and swap on boss. Have 1 tank during ring pull all 3 adds away and other just keeps boss.

Manno: 1-2 Tank(depending on speed) 1-2 heal(same thing). Mainly just burn. Ideally immune all doomguards. Might have to clear debuffs depending on speed. I know we did first couple we did, but we don't anymore.

Archi: 1-2 Tank(depending on speed) 1-2 heal(same thing). Just burn. Least amount of movement in P2 as possible. Good positioning and boss movement. P3 just burn and make sure the ring is used at a time when you can just burn boss and not worry about hitting something else with it.
