Or maybe because the rest of the country is over a relatively small group of people finding something "unacceptable and needing change", proclaiming themselves revolutionaries and starting a "movement"... that usually amounts to little more than bitching about one extreme end of the spectrum while refusing to actually debate anything about it. Instead they assign derogatory labels to anyone with a different point of view, and then crawl to their safe-spaces to avoid hurtful triggers.

So you admit you are fine with legalized bribery corrupting your political system, leading to the current oligarchy we have and causing the wage gap to continue to grow. Either you are part of the 1% and have no sense of compassion, or you are part of the 99% and have no sense of self preservation.

This lacks quite a bit of self awareness. Do you consider protestors, actively leaving the safe space of their home to protest, being disregarded due to perceived demand for safe space or avoiding triggers, to be at all derogatory opinion of those who don't share yours?
