I don't think anyone in this thread so far has debated otherwise, but porn in and of itself, isn't a bad thing. Like anything, if you have too much, it can be bad. You can ban porn as soon as you ban alcohol.

I wonder if the rape rates will go up with an anti-porn policy. Honestly, there's a correlation to be made between rape and access to porn - although nothing causal was established. In japan, where we all know have some pretty hardcore and unethical porn, the rape rate is one of the lowest worldwide. Yet the US try to go the other way and they have one of the highest rape rates in the first world countries.

And user is just a pathetic way of looking at 2 people having sex unless your going harcore with a dominant and submissive, but than the reverse is also possible. As for sex trafficking and child porno is more to do with infrastructure being better so more ways and easier to get that specific porn. Their is an element that less westerners are in prostituion so it does increase sex traficking but for countries where prostitution is legal this traficking is mostly legal as well and I doubt the illegal element has increased. Most illegal 'forced'prostitution i've read in netherlands on the news are from Lover boys (national citizens) or improper paperwork.

That it could hurt relationships, I'm not sure about, some arguments I'm doubtfull off other parts might be true. But than so is feminism and a whole lot of other shit that promotes single parents. If you follow the hypergamy thoughtline than for the sake of relationships woman shouldn't work or the child should go to the father by default. All notions put to extreme. But if you want to remove liberties with authoritatian than don't be a hypocrit and expand it for the goal you want to achieve.

So far I havn't seen one argument about physical harm porn does. Well except the stories where someone puts a phone in their but/vagina that's put on thrill mode and then they cant get it out. But I think porn helps in normalizing sex toys so that this happens less

So you have never once seen studies suggesting watching porn leaves you less motivated to find actual physical interaction with the opposite sex, leaves you with unrealistic expectations towards sex, and can hamper your ability to finish during sex? Or that it makes you seek more socially unacceptable and deviant forms of sex? Not to mention slowly influencing your view towards women?

Some porn is just fine, but excessive use can defiantly cause issues. All things in moderation.

Too much of anything is bad.
