I think you're gravely mistaken in that regard. Around the Hoogovens there are plenty of Italian and Spanish communities. Main difference is, the Turks never fully integrated. Source: My dad didn't go back to Spain.

He has been collecting information about turkish people in Europe for a long time, near the election there were reports of turks getting mail at home to go vote for him and his party. It's propaganda on a whole new level, but most of it gets laughed away.

This is hardly a sign of him reaching deeper in europe, since his power here is none-existent and all he can do is like force germany to follow its own rules, which is also a whole lot of drama about nothing.

We will probably also get rid of that law soon, so reporting will be futile.
A lot of laws that are relics of the past and are not enforced anymore. So im assuming the same for the whole 'insulting a friendly head of state' law(last enforced in 1968).
