Not sure how strange it is, but when I go abroad, I love just walking around aimlessly in usual living neighborhoods, rather than going sightseeing and such. I just love learning how simple people live, I'm rarely interested in all those tourist places.

I can do all that where I live, I can see the nicest homes on earth and the most dangerous areas in the world all within 40 minutes of my houses. Don't wander too far off the beaten path though is my advice for you.

I love that too, when I was in Australia - what for me is a 22 hour flight - I spent much time in Melbournes and Sydneys surburbs, going to local supermarkets, the library and stuff... I spent time at the attractions too, but that was more exciting just to see how typical inhabitants of the city live... also it's a great way to meet new people.

I live in the California bay area. Oakland and Richmond are pretty dangerous if you wander into the wrong parts. I mean super off limits.

I collect weapons. Both purpose designed weapons(guns, combat knives, swords), and improvised weapons(machetes, kitchen knives, cleavers, tools). Not for use, I'm not some end of days prepper or anything, nor am I some kinda paranoid nut, I just like collecting them as a hobby.

That's not a hobby if its not something you can actually hold in your hand. Don't be a weirdo.

I like cleaning. The filthier, the better. Dusting is boring. When I can get down and dirty, that's when I'm having fun. I'll pass on bodily fluids though

I'm trying to remember where to find good toilets (public, cafés, malls etc). My bladder is weak. When I'm watching films or whatever (real or not) I think "where is their toilet?" and I obsess over small things, like hygine. How do they look so well-kept in their dry, post-apocalyptic world? Women don't have armpit hair, for instance (though shouldn't they, given "beards are natural!" responses" in the beard thread?) Eyebrows look decent. When shit hit the fan, they just happenen to carry tweezers, or what?

I also like to behold how others are doing public cleaning, such as in a mall, because I worked as a cleaner myself. I'm 110 % certain my former job had higher standards
