Is this a scam or just iffy?

So I met this girl online and we talked a lot for about 2 weeks, found out she played dota 2 and watches a lot of pro games too. Anyhow ive spoken to her on voice chat etc I asked her if she wanted to go on a date since she lives 30 minutes away from me.

She is a porn model, and by this I mean she takes naked photos for sites and magazines but no sex etc. She has sent me multiple pictures nude and non nude and I know how to spot fake pictures from the usual fake accounts on dating websites. Now I know this sounds like one of those fake accounts on a dating website where they instantly try and get you onto websites and signing up before they meet but would they really talk to someone for 2 weeks just to get $100?

tl:dr met a girl online, spoke for 2 weeks (on voice), shes a porn model, wants me to sign up to websites to get verified first before meeting irl because she said she almost got raped last time she met someone online.

Usually I would just fuck these things off and block them but this is either unusual or very dedicated to getting $100, Shes also canadian living in australia.

Whole situation just seems a bit iffy but who talks to someone for 2 weeks on voice etc for this? Should I just yolo chuck away $100 on these sites and if all goes bad cancel my credit card and get the money lost refunded by my bank?

You're kidding, right? Of course it's a scam. They'll get all your details and shamboozle you out of money.

I know this but 1. Talked for 2 weeks, played video games together, talked on voice chat. 2. Usually these type of scams don't talk with you for 2 weeks in extent and the way they reply is really bot like. 3. You can just recall the money by going to your bank and cancelling your card as well.

Also never mentioned anything about money, yes I know it seems too good to be true but honestly ive had heaps of bots on datin websites and shit like tinder to know instantly when its fake, but again who talks on voice chat and plays games if they're a fake?

I'd ask her to get on Skype or send a verified photo first (like one with your name on her hand)

If you're concerned about being raped, but still want to meet someone, you ask them out for coffee in a public place and don't invite them to your house until you've had a couple dates. What you DON'T do is have the person sign up for a dating website as a way to vet them - since that's not what those websites actually do.

I don't see how signing up to a bunch of websites to the tune of $100 would somehow inform her of your lack of ill intent (as you said it's not meaningful if you can just void the transactions and get the money back either way) - her rationale seems questionable, and the scenario as described seems fishy. Also, someone with a true interest in you wouldn't leverage it against monetary inducements; it just sounds bad and isn't the kind of move you would want to base a continuing relationship on. I'd advise you cut your losses.

Or he might have some luck on his side.

OP if I were you I would see where it goes, try to meet irl as soon as possible and don't just chat for months while getting your hopes up.
The whole having to sign up somewhere to get verified sounds kind of fishy, but I guess as a porn model you'll come into contact with a bit more fishy stuff.

    EDIT:

I read your post too quickly and missed the fact you had to pay up a 100 dollars beforehand. That's fishy dude, probably scam.

And he can do vica versa too, instead of signing to a 100$ site.

This. What is signing up supposed to prove? If she was afraid of your intentions, she would simply ask to meet in a public place and then ask you to stay there after she leaves, or get a taxi home. A rapist could sign up to a website just as easily as you could.
