World PvP Gear Scaling In Legion

Does anyone know how gear ilvl will scale in world PvP in Legion? I know it will be scaled to oblivion in instances but about out in the world, will gear matter still?

No scaling in world PVP. Raiders will just kill you, that's all. For some reason this odd activity will continue to have "PVP" in name.

There is a different post, addressing PvP gear ilvl vs PVE gear ilvl. Basically from high end rated PvP you will be able to get the same or almost the same pvp gear (with random stats) and mythic gear. However, PVE gear will still be better due to set bonuses + trinkets for world pvp/duels
