and I have really severe ADHD which makes looking for small things very hard for me. So please forgive me if I missed a thread on this.

Looking at the tier 1 talents for a Arc Mage. To me it would make more sense to go with the AF instead of PoM. But to be fair I was also the one and as far as I know voice saying multi-strike was worse then Vers.

Could someone give me pros and cons on why taking PoM would be better?

If there's a fight that needs burst in specific phases, either on the boss or priority adds, it'll help more than familiar. It might not even be more overall dps, but be better for fight mechanics.

Similarly it would be better for PvP, and probably leveling.

Arcane Familiar also buffs your Artifact ability by 10%, which is pretty big. I haven't seen any math on it yet, as obviously nobody theorycrafts, but I feel like that will be a huge bonus

I think they mean that since Mark explosion scales with max mana, Familiar buffs the ability since it increases max mana.

Mark's explosion is 15% max mana, and Familiar buffs max mana by 10%. 15% of 110% mana equals 16.5% which is a 10% buff.

I think that math is to be expected since their relation is linear.
