Thoughts on Joseph Stalin?

You hear so much of Hitler you hear little of the rest, but Stalin has my interest. Thoughts or opinions?

Stalin wasn't a great man in any way. He just rode the wave that other people made. He was a petty thief and a criminal. Lenin and Trosky was the "great men" if anthing and both of them despised Stalin because they knew he was powerhungry mongrel. Stalin used them to get to power and then starting killing off everyone that stood to challange him.

Soviet would have been alot better off without Stalinism that's for sure. They took the worst type of communism and ran with it.
