Hi there!

I have a bit of a problem with my microphone and the amount of sounds it picks up. I've been recording with it for quite a while now and I've generally found a way to work around it but it's less than ideal, especially since my PC is making quite a lot of noise as well.

I'm using a Blue Yeti and I suppose in short my question is this. What can I do to reduce background noise? Right now it's picking up everything from the children playing outside to someone walking up the stairs in the house. It's set to cardioid and the gain is quite low as well. I don't really know what else to do.

Thanks in advance for any advice!
