Very interesting topic. I would assume it would have to be a character/some characters that are the most recognizable within the WC universe.

So really I believe it would come down either Arthas, Illidan or Thrall, lol.

Illidan. The glaives are unique enough that it's not just another sword-wielding character, he has wings for nice mobility, and if he can Metamorphosis into a Demon for a whole new set of abilities he'd be a very unique character addition.

Probably Kerrigan, since the only Blizzard game to appear on a Nintendo Console is like, Starcraft 64.

Unless you count ancient stuff like Rock & Roll Racing or Blackthorne.

Kerrigan might be a bit too M-rated for a Nintendo game considering her general theme of "stab shit and corrupt shit". Maybe a protoss of some sort instead, since they use scifantasy laser swords.
