    Trash before Socrethar

    How are you supposed to do it without everyone dying 5 times? In Halls of Sargerei. We dispel but people still get wrecked.

    You don't pull too many; you interrupt as many casts as you can.

    Have some stun/cc rotation going, like paladin's blinding light, remorseless winter, arcane torrent, etc.

    Stuns work great and interrupting Rip Soul is key as long as your stuns are all set.

    Interrupts, cc and we also put our shadow priests on mass dispel duty.

    Mass dispel works but the most important debuff to dispel is that devouring plague looking debuff as it kills people within seconds. It could be youve been solo dispelling the other debuff wich aren´t as harmfull and then its on cd for the above mentioned debuff.

    Also people need to not stand in purple swirls and its auctually pretty easy to move away from the laser eyes of the robot. And ofcourse look away when he does his blinding thing.

    there are 3 main mechanics at the trash
    1. the dot Devouring Spirit that makes more and more dmg despell it
    2. the voidzone Soul Eruption they will erupt after 2 seconds they can oneshot people go out off them
    both are casted by Sargerei Soul Cleaver
    last one is the big add make a shockwavecone that stunes face him away from the grp

    the trash is not so hard you should only pull 1grp at the time more is most of te time a wipe
    and be carefull and dont pull the pat

    Stuns, interrupts, careful with pulling.

    DPS Ring for the 1st two packs in that long hallway after the robot pats away. Ring of Frost + Supernova for knockups. Single interrupts [people usually forget to do these].

    Ring & mass AE from Warriors/Warlocks/Moonkins (and maybe Mages if they get PoF procs). I've seen two groups cleared in seconds.

    But honestly, most of the groaning and issues on these trash packs are from players in the raid being AFK while they're pulled.

    There is literally only 2 dangerous mobs in each pack(well if you have an idiot tank facing the bannerman at the raid then 3), interupt both of them and profit.

    i used to think tyrant trash was the worst thing ever when we were doing heroic, but now I feel like kormrok trash is the worst. those green fel orbs have no reason to have such a long range.

    i don't know i've never done it without dying. basically the goal is to only die once and curb the repair bill by not rezzing until combat finishes...

    Mass grip, jesus beam, follow up with stuns. Second group: mass grip them on the big guy, pop ring + CDs + pots, have the ring person go blow up the big guy on the stairs, preferably someone with a blink so they can get away without dying. The small mobs will die, the big guys might live. If your DPS doesn't suck you kill everything, if it does suck the mini on the stairs is at like 20% hp and just gets pulled on top of the big mech, then you just cleave them both down.

    People don't know how to do the mechanics on the adds that do the health pins. This will always kill people in shitty guilds that don't understand that mechanics matter.

    PSA: some people will get health pinned, then the mob will spawn fire orbs. Those fire orbs will explode after like 10 seconds dealing raid damage, enough to 1-shot everyone with health pins unless they have a large shield on them. Those fire orbs can be run over by players to do a small amount of personal damage but they also give that person a debuff that massively increases the damage taken by the orbs. The idea is to kill them in less than 2 orb waves and just have people who don't get health pinned soak the orbs. Tough mechanic.

    How it happens for pugs and noob guilds: pins go out, orbs go out, people run from orbs, orbs explode killing everyone who's pinned, repeat. Mob dies with 10+ people dead.

    The guys who gain a 99% DR aren't really an issue. You need a lot of coordinated CC but you can chain interrupt them forever with 20 people. You can pull both packs simultaneously, ring + CDs and as long as they stay interrupted for 15s or so you just kill them all without an issue.

    I don't know what difficulty you're playing, but in heroic they can't be interrupted, but can be stunned or gripped.
