Ever been to Hawaii/Hawai'i?

My ex-fiance's parents have a time share there, and when I got my master's degree they took me and my ex-fiance there for two weeks as a present, all paid. It was on Kauai, on the east side of Hanalei Bay, and it was ideal. It's got some tourist-y things as you would expect, but some parts of the island made me feel like I went back a few decades with outdoor markets and no cars. There's no cities on this island, just towns, and the lack of people really helped with its appeal.

So many scenic waterfalls and mountains, it was two weeks of heaven.

Yes i've been to Hawai, or as us natives call it "Kauai", to finish my hapanoa.
