Ellen Pao, the former Reddit CEO who was ousted a couple of months ago is writing a new book called "RESET" in which she will supposedly 'expose' the pervasive toxic culture in Silicon Valley; supposedly blaming a large portion of her failures on 'sexism' and 'racism' in Silicon Valley.
Pao was ousted as the CEO after Reddit after a number of Admins and Moderators shut down popular subreddits to protest the dismissal of Victoria Taylor. She was criticized for her attempts to make Reddit a 'safe space' and impose stronger penalties for offensive language.
Pao might also be remembered for her failed discrimination lawsuit against Kleiner Perkins in which she alleges she was a victim of racism. The lawsuit backfire for her tremendously, exposing her poor work ethics and abusive behavior, most notably, several incidents of workplace harassment.
Pao has not held a position since her resignation as CEO of Reddit
