Ellen Pao, former Reddit CEO, now writing book on "Silicon Valley toxic culture"

Ellen Pao, the former Reddit CEO who was ousted a couple of months ago is writing a new book called "RESET" in which she will supposedly 'expose' the pervasive toxic culture in Silicon Valley; supposedly blaming a large portion of her failures on 'sexism' and 'racism' in Silicon Valley.

Pao was ousted as the CEO after Reddit after a number of Admins and Moderators shut down popular subreddits to protest the dismissal of Victoria Taylor. She was criticized for her attempts to make Reddit a 'safe space' and impose stronger penalties for offensive language.

Pao might also be remembered for her failed discrimination lawsuit against Kleiner Perkins in which she alleges she was a victim of racism. The lawsuit backfire for her tremendously, exposing her poor work ethics and abusive behavior, most notably, several incidents of workplace harassment.

Pao has not held a position since her resignation as CEO of Reddit

It will probably be fairly similar to every other "Women are treated poorly in industry X" books.

She'll likely try and put blame on others for her own incompetence, make some quick money of people that believe it is the greatest evil since Hitler and probably with a bit of actual truth here and there (let's be honest, there is likely a tad of both sexism and racism in most industries).

I'm in favor of children getting books appropriate for their level of comprehension.
    Will it feature coloring vignettes?

How long was she the CEO.

It seemed like she was in and out in like five minutes.

She was in and out before a full financial period then.

So in the corporate world, like 5 minutes.

I think the third season of Silicon Valley has been mostly shit, thanks to the cliffhanger of Silicon Valley season 2 ending, and the worst characters (in the sense of being real cunts and worst human beings) in that series are two women.

But then again, that's just TV.

Are you talking specifically about Silicon Valley businesses? If not, then no.

Effectively a kiss and tell from someone who won't be working in the industry ever again trying to make a pension. Hardly surprising, good luck to her.

Oh so you not only think Hillary is a great human being, but apparently you love that cunt Sarkeesian as well? How am I not surprised.

Is she was really trying to make safe spaces then it's her own undoing.

She caught hell for closing some racist subreddits if memory serves. And when she was hired she was suing her former boss for harassment or discrimination.

Today, the new CEOs haven't reopened those closed subreddits and they've implemented a lot of new ways to raise money.

Here is the new boss same as the old boss kind of thing.
