Had they made outlaw a ranged spec instead of another version of combat I would of stayed rogue. I have been playing rogue since Wrath however the fact that they have added even more melee classes I am almost sure I will switch to a ranged class.

Staying for sure. I've been saying the Rogue class hasn't really evolved much since WotLK and maybe even BC if we're being honest. They were so far ahead of other classes in terms of genuinely good design from the onset that over the course of the expansions nothing changed all that dramatically I'd argue.
Now all three specs feel different at least. Some skills are gone, some are changed, some are unique to some specs (Assassination is the only one with Garrote, Outlaw is the only one with Gouge, Sub has shadowstepping ambushes) but for the first time I feel like it's something different. In the end will it be the same Combo Builder -> Finisher gameplay rotation it's always been? Yeah, sure. Absolutely. That's how the class is built and there's no getting around it but for me this is the first time I've had actual fun playing some of the specs in years. Definitely have to see if the artifacts make it stay that way.
I'm rolling from Warrior to Demon Hunter, but my wife is rolling from Shaman to Rogue so I put a vote down on rolling to Rogue for her. Rogue will definitely be one of my first alts though, probably right behind my Holy Pally.
With the removal of BuS, Preparation, Riposte and making Outlaw a ranged spec, I have to say farewell to my fav class. Probably gonna roll a DH instead.
Of course, if it also turns out that they are shit, I probably go back to my Rogue and cry on the forums.
WTF are you reading? BuS? Do you mean Burst of Speed?
I'm sure your entire gameplay also revolved around prep and...riposte?
And i don't know how you think outlaw is a ranged spec now. If you want ranged go with mage warlock hunter drui shaman priest. Outlaw did gain some ranged abilities, but it's still firmly in the realm of melee (just like ret paladins have ranged abilities, they aren't ranged are they?)
I will happily rolfstomp your DH ass, it will be especially easy if you're grasp of rogue is any indication.
Where does this misinformation come from?
I meant burst of speed yes.

Btw, reported for being insulting.
BoS and prep were removed for game balance reasons relating to the removal of CC, movement, and control options, mostly for pvp. ALL classes got this treatment, there has been a great many abilities removed for Legion, rogue is not the exception.
Recuperate was replaced with a more powerful heal (Crimson Vial) and self healing is further suplemented by talents(soothing shadows, leeching poison, iron stomach)
You've put your foot in your mouth here(and elsewhere) and i mocked you for it. It is your prerogative to report me for anything you find insulting.
However, if you would like to avoid future mocking or insults, please read what you post before you post it. And if you're unsure of any information, don't hesitate to ask.
Also, the reasons you elaborated on for leaving the rogue class for DH are definitely worth making fun of, you seem quite petulant over very minor changes to the class. As well as being under the impression that outlaw is now a ranged spec.
I really want to stay rogue... But Roll the Bones is horrible, and Sub overall feels very not appealing to me. However i still beg for Assa to have some aoe, and for them to somehow remedy the RNG horror that is Roll the Bones.. Fingers crossed.
Assa Aoe is actually quite fun (I have yet to see real numbers tho). Seal fate gives you so much cp and then you youst dot everthing and spam, the e-reg is insane, and through your aoe artifact perk and the constant ticks of bleed and poison, I think this will be pretty nifty dmg, nothing to burst really but if you have to -> Exsanguinate. by having a large pack of 5 to more mobs, you can put those bleeds up in no time, and then just let them bleed out ^^

If I play legion at all, I will change main to hunter.
Two words: True, and Bearing. Sure, Roll the Bones makes Outlaw dps inconsistent, but when it pops, holy shit does it pop... it's kinda fun and exciting, actually...
