You may not be able to get to your car, atm. Maybe you used public transportation. And if you simply don't want to, you don't have to. The law allows women to feed their babies in public, and if it's something that you find disgusting - nothing wrong with that - then you can remove yourself from seeing such a thing.

Remember, you're in public, not the privacy of your own home where you make the rules.

Why is it only now in the past few years that this has become such a big deal? Women used to be discrete about this but now there is some sort of pride in taking your breasts out.

Except you are not expelling waste products from the digestion process or excreting seminal fluid, It's breast milk, Its nearly the same as the milk you drink at home. (except a lot more health benefits). It's not "gross" because you say it is. You are the problem in the situation, not the mother.

no, but he/she will make much noise and probably irritate other people and even wake up other babies that may be sleeping nearby, etc. Also, as I wrote in my first post in this tread, extra 5 mins of walking is a substantial hustle for a mom - you'd want every possible minute of rest when you have a baby.
