That would be spoilery but here you go:
Balnazzar invades the netherlight temple, which is the priest class hall, and you have defend it with the assistance from the paladins of light's hope chapel.
This is basically a very rough summary.

So basically priests are useless and have to be saved even in their own storyline? Do they at least invoke and find some important entities like shamans?

I haven't actually seen that happen yet. From what it appears is that it's already been established once we get there. Not that paladins are bailing us out
Maybe I missed that in Beta?
