Because the chemistry between the main cast was what made the old movies. And people don't trust the new cast. Perhaps they can be convinced.

Edit: Just read the plot... I'd like to add that they're rewriting the story instead of continuing the old story. Which is bullshit. This movie is kinda invalidating the original story, or at least attempting to. With an all female cast, because... ?

Oh god, I just saw the trailer... I'm hating it even more now. First the story is a bullshit rip off, then watching the trailer I'm seeing awesome VFX wasted on... crude and unfunny jokes. And... why all female? Why McCarthy? This is not her!

Trailers are shit for it. It's competing against a classic with a star studded cast. I can't even tell you who is in the new Ghostbusters, they're that low of a blip to me. Trailers are shit for it, especially the CGI. It's an unwanted remake, more would prefer a continuation of the story rather than a remake.

I thought they looked awesome. The librarian was proper ghost shit. The VFX were super. I'm prolla gonna watch the movie on mute just to see the VFX. :P

Remakes are almost always a bad thing imho. Doesnt really help that they try to shove the feminism agenda down your throath with this movie. If you dislike it you are a misogynistic pig .

But none of the actresses are" PC", not even sure what that words mean in this context. All they did was changed the dynamic of the movie and used women instead of men. No agenda, no appeasing the SJW Boogeymen or whatever.

At the end of the day it's just a movie that for some reason thousands formed an opinion about with less than a 30 sec trailer and a few promo shots. I wish I had that sort of precognition but I guess we all can't be so fortunate.

The movie isn't going to be any more or less campy, onlining, haha porn as the other Ghostbusters.


If the new one is pushing a feminist agenda by having an all female team then those that mean the originala were pushing some sort of misogynistic agenda?
