Why LGBT needs to waste all the social capital they have accrued over decades of personal efforts by many members of the community to raise some credibility over asexuals who face little to no violence or discrimination or racial minorities that have NEVER supported us is beyond me.

I really think people need to have a discussion on what the word "oppression" means. It's a pretty strong word, and the bullshit first world microaggressions people complain about don't come anywhere close to qualifying as oppression. Meanwhile there are governments out there killing their citizens who get outed as gay and nobody gives a shit.
