The ocean's a noisy place, but under the regular din of marine life and ship traffic, scientists have detected a strange, much louder sound coming from the Caribbean Sea.

It's too low to be heard by human ears, but the whistle-like noise is so powerful that researchers have been able to pick up its signature from space - and it's like nothing they've ever heard before.

You made it sound like it was new.. There's plenty of theories, most of them more reasonable than aliens visiting earth only to plant an extremely noisy machine and then leave without a trace.

Well the second vid sounds like the guy is standing next to a pool pump house. Like that is EXACTLY what it sounds like, there is no strobing of the sound while the "ufo" is moving around.

Oceans have made lots of weird and hither to unexplained noises but I am afraid "aliens" are usually not on the list of any sane individual.

They didn't call it an alien device at any point in the article and nothing about it suggests that is what it is or what they intended for us to take from it. It seems more like you're trying to clickbait people into the thread than having any real discussion.
