I find that microwaved liquids lose heat faster than if they were boiled.

People use a microwave to heat water? That is a new one on me

I saw an American making a cup of tea, using british teabags, by first boiling his water in the microwave. He should be lynched.
This should never be a thing.

I can completely understand boiling water in a pot, heating it up on a stove/oven.
But, most British Households own a kettle and you'd be damned not too.

Kettle of course. I am not a barbarian!

On the other hand ... isn't a kettle the less-tech-version? Meh, nevermind. Microwave is for savages!! *raises fist*
