Guardian affinity

Quick question that I can't find an answer for anywhere. Trying to determine which affinity will be best for me in legion as feral (PvP).

Do the abilities I get from guardian affinity put me into bear form, or can I use them in cat form?

They put you in bear form and/or are only usable in bear form.

[Gemini Soul]

They are bear form only, your better off going resto affinity.

[Keiyra]

does the balance affinity let you melee from 5 yards further out? If so that could be useful too.
