looking for a decent gaming computer. BUDGET IS $1000-$1200.
must at least be a i-5 quad core with 16gb of ram.
my current specs are as follows:
windows 7 home premium 64 bit. (i have free offer still valid for upgrade to windows 10.)
8gb dual channel ddr3 ram@552 mhz
1tb seagate hd
550w rosewill bronze certified power supply.
2010st dell monitor 1600x900 60hz
geforce gtx 560 1gb ram
intel core i3 2120 3.3 ghz sandy bridge 32nm
optical drive
coolermaster haf case (that's getting replace probably the front jacks don't work.)
couple questions:
how is windows 10? will i have issues playing older games from 2000ish? (specifically rome total war 1)
will i HAVE to wipe my hard drive? i really don't want to.
should i go with intel or amd for graphics cards and cpus budgetwise i would like to keep costs down even though i have the budget for it. i am sort of frugal that way.
