    Upgrade Help for Legion

    Hello All,

I'm looking to build a new rig for legion and have already assembled what I would say is a decently good upgrade from my current setup.

But first to the Read Me questions:

Budget ~800 CAD (plus or minus 50 would be fine)
    Resolution: 1080p
Games / Settings Desired: Mostly WoW (I'd like to play legion around settings 7-8 comfortably [i.e 50 fps +)
Any other intensive software or special things you do (Frequent video encoding, 3D modeling, etc) Nothing special
    Country Canada
Parts that can be reused: Doubtful (I've included a list of my current components below
Do you need an OS? No
Do you need peripherals (e.g. monitor, mouse, keyboard, speakers, etc)? Nope I've got all i need

I do have a preference for an AMD CPU and a nVidia GPU

    Current Setup

CPU: AMD Athlon II x4 640
    Motherboard: MSI 760GM-P23(FX)
    Memory:Patriot (sorry I don't have the speed) x 8GB
    Storage: WD WD6400AAKS-657B2 600 GB
    GPU: Zotac GTS 450
Case: Don't have the model number, its a Thermal Master
PSU: Cheap one came with the tower 500W [/B]

Reuse your HDD, if there are any problems with it, get this. I've included only Amazon.ca and Newegg.ca so you can probably save some money if you order elsewhere (click on the part to view prices from other vendors).

    Couple of questions

    1) Why a Dual Core with HP over a hexacore?
1.a) Not that i think it will matter but I do usually have Skype and YT at the same time as wow

    1) WoW is a CPU dependant game. Most games dont use that much cores and Intel single core performance is miles better. AMD unfortunately doesnt have any competitive CPUs right now.
    2) Not a problem.

I updated the list in the post above, change the case.
