    New Laptop for Legion/General Gaming

Hi, I’m replacing my old Inspiron 17SE (7720) for a new laptop. I don’t have a real cap on budget, but I prefer expending not more than US $2,000. I will buy it in the USA.

I hope to run Legion on ultra and other games like The Witcher 3. I do need a laptop, since I travel a lot and I cannot fit a desktop into a backpack.

    I’m considering the following laptops:

    ASUS ROG G752VT-DH72 (i7-6700HQ, GTX 970M 3GB, 16GB RAM, 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD) – $1,599
    MSI GT72 Dominator-019 (i7-6820HK, GTX 970M 3GB, 16GB RAM, 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD) – $1,633
    Sager NP8677-S (i7-6700HQ, GTX 970M 3GB, 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD + 1TB HDD) – $1,399

I also have a few other questions:
    1) Does anyone have a Sager and can comment on quality/durability/cooling?
    2) Should I focus on getting a laptop with G-Sync capabilities?
    3) Is it worth to spend some more and go for a Sager NP9778-S ($1,949) or NP9870-S ($2,599) with desktop processors and desktop GPU (for the NP9870-S)?

    I really appreciate your help!

If you can wait a bit I would wait on laptops with the new 10x series from Nvidia or if you can't go for one with a GTX980M since you already lose a lot of perforamnce (30-40%) vs their desktop equivalent and you want to game on ultra.

    Thanks for your reply Denpepe,

I read about the new 10x series, however it seems that the mobile gpus won't be released until September and I need the laptop delivered by mid-August.

As far as wow is concerned, will upgrading to a GTX980M be a reasonable improvement for a 1080p display?
