Why black America should apologize to Police.

After the attacks in Bation Rouge and Dallas on our police officers, it shows the hypocrisy of people of color to expect the police to protect them which at the same time spitting in their faces and BLM encouraging Black people to harm police officers. Case in point look at the video about pigs in a blanket from fox news channel. Police put their lives on the line for you people and don't even show an ounce of gratitude. First for this country to heal BLM must quickly disband and black america must be respectful to police from now on.

    This.

And I don't think BLM is encouraging its followers to murder police officers. There are the few extremists in the organization who carry out such acts. And stop putting all black Americans under the same banner, OP. There is fault on both sides. That's the issue in America. Until we stop polarizing ourselves to one side or the other we won't better ourselves.

Generalizing black people is the same exact problem as generalizing cops.

Pretty much. I know plenty of black people who disagree with BLM, not to mention BLM simply doesn't represent black people.

Not to mention that police are still pretty militarized. A few officers shot doesn't change that.

This sounds familiar. Generalizing an entire population whether they're Muslims, blacks or whites is a bigoted way of thinking. Also, putting their lives on the line to protect the general public is what they sign up for, it's not forced on them.

Militarization isnt inherently bad. What matters is if they are good at law enforcement. Cops can be good or bad with varying amounts of gear.

There's pretty clearly rhetoric and media spin that pushes killers into action. Let's not act like BLM isn't part of that.

With an OP like that, this thread isn't going anywhere good.
