    WoW and BF1 GPU upgrade

    Hello there, guys!
I currently own the following system:
    CPU: i5 3470
    MB: MSI B75A-G43
GPU: Sapphire HD 7950 with boost (3GB)
    2x4GB ddr3 on 1600 mhz
    PSU: OCZ 650w
    Monitor: Benq xl2411z

So I'm currently thinking about upgrading my GPU but can't decide what to get. Planning to play on 1080p, so basically it's just rx480 vs gtx 1060 choice.

I actually only play WoW and BF4 nowadays, planning to play BF1 when it is released, maybe some new titles. Want to run Legion on close to ultra settings and BF1 smth near high-upper high

    So what would you suggest?
    Thanks in advance!

For WoW definetely get GTX 1060. In other games the contention is much closer. It all depends on how cheap you can get either. Note that custom RX 480 are not out yet, all the cards that are selling are reference designs.

In WoW yes but in WoW your cpu is pretty much always your bottleneck unless you're using a potatoe for a gpu. You shoul definitely ugprade your GPU as a first step you can look at your CPU/Mobo later, for WoW go with the 1060 being that nvidia performs better in WoW.

Pretty much every CPU will bottleneck WoW. Especially non-overclocked one.

BF1 will most likely use DX12, the 480 will probably perform better in that game. But it is to soon to tell.

I would actually just wait buying a new GPU untill BF1 is released. The 7950 should still be enough for WoW, for BF1 (if you want to play with ultra settings) you would probably need to upgrade. By waiting, you do not overpay, because both cards are overpriced at the moment due to limited stock. The custom 480s are just now beginning to show up.
