no chat notification for transmogs?

This is a feature that was present in the beta and PTR but is now sorely lacking. Whenever you looted an item you didn't have in the wardrobe you would get a chat notification that said <item> has been added to the wardrobe. That feature is now apparently gone.

Noticed that this morning. Makes going through all of the BoE items a pain the the ass . Adding to that is the fact that some PvP soulbound weapons that I still have are not in the wardrobe either. I dont think I trust this system enough yet.

Nope, it's there. But it only works for epics. Green and blues doesn't pop in chat. But every epic I looted today says "item added bla-bla-bla" in chat.

greens and blues pop up for me, are you binding them? because they need to be bound to be added, or maybe those items allready share a apperance with a item you have gotten from a quest

are you 100% sure? Is there any addon that might cause this or something that you have enabled in the chat?

maybe, idk, i use ELVUI and that just adds like, 20 addons in one, so it may be it, cause its bagnon, map, bartender, aura bar, chat frames, raid frames, everything in one so...

I normally use Tukui and i switched to Elvui and still nothing.

A lot of my PvP items weren't added instantly, after about 10 minutes the system had logged all the shit I had on my now defunct Paladin (RIP Ret). Then I logged all my chars to log everything, came back and everything was available, including S13/14/15, WLS1/2/3 opposite faction colour tranmogs.

Only thing I really want to know is whether or not it's safe to upgrade 640/30 crafted gear. On Beta I remember there being some issues with the second level look not unlocking properly.

Yep, took me few minutes on my main to get all fashionista achievements. It was surreal, i was just standing there, cursing my broken addons and all and achievements were popping up every minute.

Only thing I really want to know is whether or not it's safe to upgrade 640/30 crafted gear. On Beta I remember there being some issues with the second level look not unlocking properly.

I'd like to know this too. I have 4/6 upgraded axe on my paladin, but in my wardrobe there is only 2 appearances, 630 and 660ilvl. 645ilvl one is not acquired. I don't know why i have that 630 version, so something is not certainly working.

It's a default chat option. right click your general tab -> settings -> other - > "opening". that's what did it for me, then you get the ..."has been added to your wardrobe" when you loot something

Not working for me. At least not with BOE greens im equipping

there's an addon called "can i mog it?" that tells you if you've learned an item (on the item itself not on the chat)

That's in the default UI, or at least it will tell you if you've NOT learned it yet.

From what I'm seeing only BoP epics are getting that message. In beta I got those messages for green and blue quest rewards as well but haven't been able to test those since I've literally done them all atm.

ah yes, but with the addon it also tells you if you've learned the item or not even if its not your current characters armor proficiency

Still broken. Equipping stage 3 gear only adds stage 3 appearance. No stage 1. No Stage 2.

Yeah I knew that was the case, I meant upgrade through from 1-3. On the beta when id id that I would unlock he Level 1 look by simply having it equipped, would not unlock the level 2 looks and have the level 3 looks unlocked once I'd finished.

But I can say that having since upgraded, they all do seem to stay. I didn't receive notifications for some items but they all unlocked.
