and if i should adjust and you think there is worthwhile upgrade .

You're fine. To get drastically better results you basically need to buy a new PC.

The only thing you could do aside from what thunderball said a new PC is upgrade windows 7 to Windows 10 before the free upgrade time window closes. 10 Is faster than 7.
