Anduin leading the Army of Light would suggest that Turalyon dies, right?

Possibly. But he's not wearing any plate armor, whereas Varian was always in full plate, which is why I'm skeptical about him being a paladin.
There's probably way more than one assassin in stormwind. This one just had an opportunity (and was pretty stupid about it), but I bet there's many more.

Or maybe neither priest nor paladin. We know Velen is a priest and we know Anduin was his student. But we know his father was a Warrior and he (Anduin) was very close to some Paladins in the lore. The way he materialized a weapon purely out of light may very well make him a totally unique character.

And he's going to be best buddy with Wrathion's cub (although don't ask me how, he's the last black dragon) and everyone will theorize about how the two would form an adorable gay couple.
Speaking of which, that's something else I've spotted.
Anduin has no wife, no child, nobody around him. Could it be that he's going to be the last of the Wrynns?

I can't believe this thread is anything other than people agreeing how spectacular Anduin is of a character or how epic that last page transition felt. Blizzard don't often (have never?) flashed forward and to choose to do so to such great effect...
I appreciate how people feel about spoilers but it never made much sense to me. The journey vastly outweighs the destination. One way or another, that will be Anduin's destiny -and I am hyped for that- but seeing him evolve from boy to man to king, now and finally into the Legend he will become is one of the highlights of Blizzard's sum total of writing. The comic showed it to great effect (as the Demon explains) and I look forward to the twists along the way. I look forward to how Anduin will cope with the challenges he'll face.
It actually do. While we don't know what happened to SW/Eastern kingdom/azeroth. It clearly shows that the battlefield moved somewhere else.
The trone is clearly his, it's a human design. But everything else is draenei arround him. That's a pretty huge hint about the potential futur.
When I was younger I used to hope bad things wouldn't happen.
Now I just hope they're at least funny when they do.
Way too much spoiler about the future for my liking. Its like seeing a movie but you already know the ending, kinda. Its a good read all the way dont get me wrong, but i feel it takes alot away from us aswell with the ending.
I woulda liked following his journey to what i assume will become the most influental alliance charachter in history, without knowing it beforehand what he will become.
The first Human Paladins outside of the super secret order that protected the Holy Paladin artifact were all priests that took up martial weapons. Between his Father training him to Fight and Velen Training him in the light it would be very easy for him to go down that path.
Sounds like later on Anduin makes the ultimate sacrifice (his life) to destroy the Legion.
