Even if there's no use for it right now there might be in Legion, right? The Landslide buff is obviously irrelevant because there is just absolutely no way around pressing Rockbiter/Boulderfist once every ten seconds but if Crashing Storm should not be the ideal talent or maelstrom regeneration is too slow or GCDs are too limited for whatever reason you're suddenly looking at the possibility of wanting to press Crash Lightning just to maintain the buff and not on CD.

Yeah. Absolutely it is a possibly at some point. Not denying that. Currently I don't believe it is needed. Is it a feature you'd like to have? I can write a string for it relatively quick. You'd just have to import it.

Realistically again I think it is just a useless thing to track for the moment, and if in the possible future it is needed I can always write it in.

I made this one for tracking Maelstrom resource, both for ele and enh (slightly different looks for the specs).
It's more "flashy" than the OP one but still does the same thing, just looks more interesting and it also detects how much resources you have incoming based on your attacks.

*edit* forgot to put it in a CODE frame
It is neat. Pretty flashy for sure. Someone here might be interested in it so thanks for sharing!

Personally im not really into the extremely flashy UI's. A basic one will keep me from being distracted during a fight.

I've been using your aura (v1.02 - just noticed update) for few days now and got this thing that I feel could be improved and I've decided to share it with you - maybe you will conciser adding it.
When you are out of malestorm and you don't have enough for a ability It doesn't tell you that you don't have enough (like skill on action bar), of course i can look on malestorm bar (with I'm trying to do), but I think it would be cool if I could look at the skill when I've got 30 malestorm and think: "It has red border (or it's blue,or something) I can't use it right now I should generate some malestorm". I think that it won't make aura harder to read for a player and it will provide more information.

Let me know what you think.

    thanks will keep this bookmarked

I installed Weak Auras version 2 and imported this string and as soon I enter combat I get 3 lua errors.
It's always 'attempt to perform arithmetic on local 'runerDuration' (a boolean value).

Did I do something wrong here?

It always happens when I spend maelstorm, so SS or crash lightning

Do note it has 3 ranks.
    Ranks like crafting ranks?

    That shouldn't affect the Item-ID.

I already did these on my own version, will share it with you here in a few minutes.

I've been working on an update to incorporate said ideas. Please hold by for another few hours.

That's true. No need to track it with ID anyway.

    Here's the healing potion: http://www.wowhead.com/item=127834/a...healing-potion

I love this set of WA. You have truly made things easier to track. My only complain, more preference really, is there any way to scale down the entire group? It takes up a bit to much real estate for me. I am new to Weak Auras so I am not sure how to accomplish this.

Also - is there a legion version of shieldtronic as well?

    - - - Updated - - -

Ok - this weakaura is updated to v1.04.. im editing the main post.. but the wago.io still links to the correct WA.

Just wanted to say thanks for sharing this. It looks like something I would have tried to replicate if someone had not already done so. Glad you posted it and glad your keeping it updated. Thanks!

Doesn't look like it. I just did a simple search for "potion" on wowhead and filtered usable by 110. The others are tank, healing, ranged and speed potions.

This looks pretty cool. Was just wondering though if I could shrink the size of it down a little bit. It's a bit too big and distracting at that size and would take time for me to get used to.

When I do that the spell ID turns into a name.. I'm unsure how to do that.
