Question about Timewalking dungeons

Something i was wondering about time walking Dungeons. I I gather up gear for that Xpack, Like Teir sets, Trinkets and such. Will it scale down as well or will it remain its Item level and keep all the bonuses and the like?

Each timewalking dungeon has a max itemlevel, defined by the expansion they were relevant in. All items above that itemlevel will scale down to that. All items below will NOT scale up. So something like the Shadowmourne axe will work just fine in TBC and WotLK dungeons, but suck in Cataclysm Timewalking.

All old-expansion tier sets have had their bonus deactivated, in and out of timewalking. Only current-expansion tier sets still work. These will get deactivated later, when Legion sets have arrived.
