    New build, critiques please.

    So I'm going to upgrade my current rig in a few stages with the stages based on what I feel I need to replace first:
    Phase 1

    CPU: Intel i5 2500k ------------------------------------------> Intel i5 6600k
    MoBo: Asus P8P67 -------------------------------------------> Asus Z170-A
    RAM: Corsair Vengeance LP DDR3 1600MHz (2x4GB) --->Corsair Vengeance LP DDR4 3000MHz (2x8GB)
    PSU: Corsair 750w -------------------------------------------> Modular Corsair RM650
    Storage: ------------------------------------------------------> Adding a Samsung Evo 250GB

    Phase 2

    Graphics Card: MSI GTX770 2GB ---------------------------> GTX1080 (Most likely an EVGA ftw)

    Phase 3

    Case: Fractal Design R3 --------------------------------------> Thermaltake Core P3
    CPU Cooler: Noctua NH D-14 -------------------------------> XSPC Raystorm D5 Photon 360

    I'm open to suggestion on variations, especially the CPU - I've been doing my own research but finding it hard to come to a conclusion on what's best or whether I should wait.

    Budget is around £1500.00. Phase 3 is optional so if I axe that, the budget is around £1200.00

    I also am over in the USA a lot and have people who come over, the next time that'll be happening is start of September and mid October. With the currency conversion as of right now, the parts cost $1500.00 USD which comes out around £1100.00

    1) Load the amount of weight I would deadlift onto the bench
    2) Unrack
    3) Crank out 15 reps
    4) Be ashamed of constantly skipping leg day

    What's your budget? Could help knowing how much you have.

    Around £1500.00

    The case and the liquid cooling aren't mandatory. So that's around £1200.00

    The build looks very nice, honestly. But it all depends on what you're planning on doing with your PC, I think that's very good for gaming.

    My only concern is the temp limits on the 6600k. I like overclocking and a little worried it doesn't seem to OC that well

    1) PSU - go with either EVGA SuperNova G2/P2 650 or Seasonic X.
    2) For the watercooling kit - for that kind of price I'd go with EKWB custom loop if you can build it. Will probably be cheaper too.
    3) For the case I guess it's a personal choice but I would go with something like Corsair 780T.
    4) For the overclocking board I'd go with Asrock Z170 Extreme4.

    144hz 1080p but it's an investment for me, as I don't upgrade for long periods at a time. I've been really indecisive with that and a 1070, I also have the money for a 1080.
