Nvidia GeForce GTX460... What can I upgrade to?

I'm wanting to increase my WoW gaming experience. I'm currently operating with the following specs...

    Processor
    Intel Core i5 760(2.80GHz)

    Processor Main Features
    64 bit Quad-Core Processor

    Memory
    4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1333

    Storage
    1TB SATA-II 3.0Gb/s 7200RPM HDD

    Optical Drive
    24X DVD±R/±RW Dual Layer Drive

    Graphics
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 1GB PCI-Express Graphics Card

    Audio
    Sound card - Integrated

    Ethernet
    Gigabit LAN

    Power Supply
    700W

    Keyboard
    Xtreme Gear USB Keyboard

    Mouse
    Xtreme Gear USB Mouse

    Operating System
    Windows 10 Home Premium 64-bit

    Special Features
    Coolermaster Elite 310 Gaming Tower

Would upgrading from a 460 to a 960 make a significant difference (going from a 1g to 4g card)? Should I upgrade my RAM?

Just WoW mainly. I don't really want to spend much more than $200 right now. A friend recommended that I upgrade the gpu from a 460 to a 960 to solve most of my issues. Wasn't sure though.

WOW is much more CPU-bound, you'd better off if you'd get a fifth-gen i5 with a gtx 760, with some luck you can get them along with a mobo for ~230-240 dollars. Upgrading to a rx480 is really pointless if you're only playing wow mainly, and a gtx760 OC edition can run most games on 1080p medium settings anyways.

The RX 480 4Gb ($199) or RX 480 8Gb ($239) is about the same price as a 960 4Gb which range anywhere from $179-$319. Or if team green is your thing the 1060 6Gb will run you about $250. Both Rx's and 1060s are leaps an bounds better overall then the 960. While yes both those card are currently out of stock Im hoping that around the time Legion launches we will see both card well in stock..

Heres a brief breakdown of the card performance when stacked up. http://hwbench.com/vgas/radeon-rx-48...eforce-gtx-960

drop the aftermarket cooler and it is practically just 200 bucks. Id also consider spending more to get a new video card like an R9 series. Or just get a better i5 that fits the socket in your old board.

What about the R9 390 8gb? Also going to boost my RAM to 16g (up from 4g)

Great card for a fantastic price. Although if WoW is your main concern, Nvidia generally performs better:

So if you are looking for the best bang for your buck when it comes to WoW a Geforce 1060 is your best bet. You can pick those up for around $249-$259.

Your best options are the 1060 or the RX 480. The R9 390 is bad value nowa days.
