are monks any better or fun to play in Legion? I haven't liked monk for awhile now was fine when it launched but it grew boring, just want to know so I can delete it if not and make something else..

No one can tell you what you will enjoy. Hence why these posts are typically not productive in the class forums. You're more than welcome to try the class out for yourself. There have been players who have enjoyed the class for year, and obviously you didn't have the same experience, so you'll just have to see for yourself.
