Legion Rank 2 & 3 of Darkmoon Cards

I have a scribe on beta and she did the inscription quest line to be able to make Rank 1 of the Darkmoon card. How do you get Ranks 2 and 3. I believe you buy them from Paleo at the Darkmoon Faire but I don't know what the currency is that you use to buy them (don't think it is gold). Wowhead shows an icon for what you turn in but it doesn't mean anything to me. That is I don't recognize the icon. Does anyone know?

Looking at that icon, it seems to resemble...the champion's seals from the Wrath Trial of the Crusader dailies? That's the only currency in the game (shown on Wowhead at least) that uses that yellow sword icon.

Seems a rather left-field pick, though...the faire is coming up though, so you'll be able to verify soon enough as it should be on him as a thing to buy. Regardless, if that's truly the case, you'll need 40 seals total to buy both the 2 and 3 star recipes from him as the 3 star shows the same icon but 35 of them.
